Eluna is proud to offer 4 scholarship opportunities for participants in Eluna’s programs: - The Joshua William Beam Scholarship, funded by the Beam family, is available to current campers and alumni of Eluna’s bereavement program, Camp Erin.
- The Eluna Trustees Legacy Fund Scholarship Program, founded by Susan and Erik Hansen, is available for alumni of Camp Mariposa, Eluna’s addiction prevention and mentoring program.
- The Team Jesse Scholarship Program, funded by the Ronald A. Mincio Education Fund, is available to camp participants with a household member who has served or is currently serving in the military.
- The Jason Clark Memorial Scholarship is available to recipients of personalized support from the Eluna Resource Center.
Qualifying program participants will have the opportunity to receive financial support in the form of a one-time educational scholarship. The awarded applicant for each scholarship program will receive a scholarship in the amount of $3,000 (USD) that will be paid directly to their school’s Bursar’s Office (or equivalent).
Please only apply for one scholarship. Applications are due by Friday, May 8, 2026, and recipients will be announced in June 2026. Recipients may be asked to submit a video after applications are reviewed for the award presentation.
To qualify, applicants must be:
- A high school senior that is graduating in 2026 or current student in a post-high school program;
- Planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college/university or vocational/technical school
- A current or former Camp Erin or Camp Mariposa camper (Joshua William Beam, Eluna Trustees Legacy Fund, or Team Jesse scholarships) or
- A recipient of personalized support from the Eluna Resource Center (Jason Clark Memorial Scholarship)
The application for all scholarships consists of no more than 5 short answer questions (100-500 words).
All applicants must also provide a letter of recommendation from someone who is NOT a relative, caregiver, or legal guardian. This could be a teacher, tutor, community leader, school administrator, employer, or camp employee/volunteer/mentor who knows you personally and can speak to your accomplishments and journey.
