Supporting Youth Experiencing Grief: For Support Professionals

logos
In the U.S., 1 in 11 children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18 (CBEM, 2025). Without the support of caring adults, grief can have life-long, adverse effects on a young person’s health and overall well-being. When a child or teen that we know experiences the death of someone close to them, it can be challenging to know what to say, how to help, and where to go to find resources to support them. We hope you will join us and feel supported as you continue making a difference for the youth in your community.

Attendees of this free webinar will be empowered with:
  • understanding of how grief impacts each young person uniquely
  • strategies for supporting grieving children and teens
  • resources and connections to support youth and families who are grieving
