Become a Camp Mariposa Mentor
Compassionate, dedicated mentors are at the heart of every successful Camp Mariposa experience. Guided by the local Camp team, mentors encourage, support, and build meaningful connections with youth throughout weekend camps and family activities.
If you're caring, dependable, and passionate about making a positive impact in your community, we'd love to have you join our team. We'll provide the necessary
training, guidance, and resources you need to make a meaningful difference.
To help create a safe, supportive environment for every camper, mentors must:
- Be at least 21
years old (some Camp locations welcome mentors ages 18+).
- Commit to one year of service, including attending at least four camp weekends.
- Enjoy working with groups of young people in Camp Mariposa's group mentoring model.
- Successfully complete the mentor screening process, including an application, interview, and background check.
